Corrosion-resistant models (RHBM series with full stainless steel construction and nickel-phosphorus coated barrels) are running in multiple fields (Tanyavskoye, Kozievsky, Bugrevatovskoye) since 2019.
Advanced Components
Sand Diverter
A specialized plunger assembly that redirects sand and particulates away from the pump barrel, preventing premature wear and maintaining stable pump performance. Its beveled, precision-fit adapter prevents fines from collecting between barrel and plunger.
Pressure-Activated Plunger
Equipped with split nylon rings that expand under pressure to enhance sealing during the upstroke and relax during the downstroke. Ideal for wells with poor lubrication or high water cut, the plunger ensures long service life and increased efficiency.
Grooved Plunger Design
Grooves retain lubricants and guide sand, wax, and debris through staged clearance zones. This prevents scoring and increases operational time between pump interventions.
Double Valve Design
Provides added durability and resistance against early valve failure in difficult production environments.
Sand Cleaner
Mounted above the insert pump, this two-piece device prevents solids from settling into the pump during shut-in periods. Molded rubber fins act as a barrier and are easily replaced during maintenance. Available in stainless steel, brass, and carbon steel.
Full-Flow Cage Valve
This valve maximizes internal flow area (+200%) while minimizing pressure drops. It excels in handling heavy crude, wax, scale, and solids with increased pump efficiency and durability.
Barrel Types & Coatings
Chrome Barrels (1026 Carbon Steel)
Compliant with API 11AX and NACE MR0176 standards. Optionally available with double chrome plating for enhanced abrasion resistance.
Chrome Brass Barrels (443 Admiralty Brass)
Superior corrosion resistance in low pH environments. Brass minimizes galvanic corrosion between substrate and plating, extending service life.
Chrome Stainless Steel Barrels (501 SS)
Recommended for severe service wells — exceptional corrosion and wear resistance, ideal for abrasive fluids with mild H₂S or CO₂ content.
Duplex Chrome Plating
PRESTIL offers double-layer chrome plating (0.003"–0.006" per side) on steel, brass, and stainless barrels. Compared to traditional plating, PRESTIL chrome features a dense microcrack structure and <15% porosity — minimizing substrate exposure and dramatically improving corrosion resistance.
